Rahu in Ascendant indicates that  a radical change is ruling the horoscope at the time of declaration of federal election 2015 which will predominate the next federal election the 2015 to be held on October 19.

Rahu in Virgo Ascendant represents change,  radical elements,  foreign policy, militants, and National Democratic Party of Canada, stock market swings, economic challenges, conspiracies, poisons, terrorism, political attacks and explosive utterances etc.

The election date (October 19, 2015) will fall under Moon sub period and Saturn sub-sub period. The Vimshottri Dasa System is one of the greatest astrological tools available in Indian astrology to study the incidents at the time of event.  So largely influences on ascendant and ascendant lord, planets Moon and Saturn representing as Dasa and antardasa lords are main indicators.  So we will have to analyse their position, aspect and conjunction of these planets( Ascendant lord Mercury, Mercury, Moon & Saturn) in the D-1 and D-9 charts.
Ascendant lord Mercury (representing the conservatives, the current party in power)  is sitting in 11th house of public and democracy with 3rd house lord debilitated Mars and 12th lord Sun
Moon which means people are happy with them.

Moon and Saturn do not get along well with each other.

 Moon the lord of 11th house rules caandian public (voters) and positioned in 6th house (a house of change, competition & challenges). Moon indicates the psyche of public and Moon's position in 6th house clearly shows indecisiveness and confusion among Canadians which political party to be voted in to rule the country.

Saturn in third house indicates that conservatives need to walk away from their strategy of conservatism otherwise they will see  a sea change in voter mood this time which may turn  the tables on them and move towards other parties.

D-9 chart is also a very significant chart to be analysed along with D-1 to see the election mood and trends.
In D-9 chart, Moon is the lord of 6th house posited with Mercury the lord of 5th and 8th house (lord of Ascendant in D-1) and Saturn as the lord of lord of ascendant and 12th house (lord of 5th & 6th house in D-1) making opposite aspects with each other which also emphasizes the point that the oppositions will make fierce inroads against the incumbent conservatives party and they will have jolt if they (conservatives) do not make better strategies to win election.

Chart 2:

Date of Election: October 19, 2015
Time of start: 9.30 AM
Ottawa

Vimsottari Dasa:-Sub Period

 Venus  MD:    2013-01-26-2033-01-26
 Venus  AD:     2013-01-26-2016-05-27
 Mercury  PD:  2015-09-29-2016-03-16

 Sub-Sub Period in this PD:

    Merc:  2015-09-29-2015-10-24
    Ket:     2015-10-24 - 2015-11-03
    Ven:    2015-11-03 - 2015-12-01
    Sun:     2015-12-01  -  2015-12-09
    Moon: 2015-12-09 - 2015-12-23
    Mars:   2015-12-23  -  2016-01-02
    Rah:     2016-01-02  -  2016-01-27
    Jup:      2016-01-27  -  2016-02-18
    Sat:      2016-02-18  -  2016-03-16

Due to presence of debilitated Sun in D1 ascendant and sun being debilitated in D9 chart as well which is lord of 11th house-the house of voters (citizens) there will be lukewarm response from the public. The Sun being  significator of politics and political power shows weakness for incoming governing body. The ascendant lord Venus is transiting in 11th house along with Mars (lord of Opposition parties representing NDP and Liberals) and Jupiter (the lord of 3rd and 6th houses) again points towards the  confusion in the minds of the voters with respect to their selection of the government in the centre.

 The Jupiter, the lord of 3rd and 6th  houses is  representing change of mood of  public  and the conservatives facing fierce competition from opponents. The new Canadians and immigrant community are represented by 9th and 12th house. The presence of Mercury and Rahu in 12th indicates angry immigrant mood against the current government.  The C-51 amendment to the constitution perhaps will not be a great vote catcher for the conservatives. The dasa lord Mercury ‘s position also indicates that all the parties, particularly Conservatives will try to mollify new Canadians.

The 42th Canada Federal election has been declared to be held on October 19, 2015. The voters turn out will be dismal in comparison to the previous years. There may be an anti-incumbency verdict but it will be no clear majority to any single party. Conservatives have to fight a very tough battle and the win will not easy if any. Margins will be negligible if per chance the conservatives win.

 Most probably there will be hung parliament and oppositions liberals and NDP may get into post poll alliance or some other arrangement to oust the Conservatives out of power.

So we can see the clear trend here for now:

1. Economy and Anti-terrorism will be main planks in this election.

2. All the three parties will try to woo the new sections of the voters (New Canadians) by their new political overtures but the voters may not be impressed by such tantrums and will be responded by low turn out.

3. No party will win absolute or simple majority. There is  very less a chance of  win by conservatives  but, more a chance of  Liberals led or shared post-poll arrangement of some kind with NDP.

Om Gurve Namah,

Thank You

Regards

Know How Transit Planets Are Influencing Your Birth Charts

Planetary Transits for Year 2015
We are approaching towards August 2015. You all must be anxious to know how will be the rest of year 2015 for you, and what kind of impact the 2015 planetary alignments will have on your career, finances, business, love relationships / marriage and your health etc. The transits of slow moving planets such as Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu are always very important, because they stay in each sign and each Nakshatra for a longer period of time compared to the fast moving planets. Saturn transits in each Zodiac sign for 2.5 years and each Nakshatra for approximately 13 months. Rahu and Ketu transit in each Nakshatra for about 8 months. Jupiter transits in each Nakshatra for about 5 months and 10 days. In the Varshaphal reading  the cumulative influence of the transiting planets for the next 4 months could be analyzed; most definitely the transits of Saturn because it is always of a longer duration. The point is to get you to pay attention to the cumulative influence of the slow moving planets in transit, such as, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu, and Jupiter for the next 4 months, and the dashas in operation, in relation to your birth chart.

In the birth horoscope, some planets are  significators of money (2nd, 6th, and 11th houses); some are significators of loss of money (8th and 12th houses); some are significators of sickness (6th, 8th, and 12th houses), significators of marriage (2nd, 7th, and 11th houses), some are significators of relationships ( 5th , 7th , 11th houses), some significators of setback to marriage, relationships resulting in separation or divorce (6th  and 12th houses  )  some are significators of career/occupation (2nd, 6th, and 10th houses), some are significators of  education (2th , 4th and 5th houses), some are significators of children (5th and 9th  ) and some are significators of foreign travel (3rd, 4th, 9th and 12th houses) .

 Suppose all of the above transiting planets are simultaneously moving in the nakshatra for the significators of love relationships (like the 5th , 7th , and 11th ), and also simultaneously moving in the Subs connected with the 5th , 7th , and 11th in the Birth Chart. Then they become coincided with one another in their respective ability to influence these specific matters. So your love life may then improve during this part of the year and you may find your soul mate. Now, consider the same scenario with the above transiting planets moving in the Subs or nakshatras connected with the 6th or 12th houses instead of the 5th , 7th , 11th  houses of the Birth Chart. In this scenario, it is likely that there will misunderstandings or separation or failure in relationship.

SATURN will stay in its own Nakshatra Anuradha in Scorpio sign most of the time in year 2015. Saturn went  retrograde on March 14th, 2015 at 11 degrees approximately in Anuradha Nakshatra in Scorpio sign. Then Saturn will become direct On August 1st 2015 at 4 degrees 18 minutes in Anuradha Nakshatra in Scorpio sign. Saturrn in Scorpio will be aspected by Jupiter from Cancer sign by its 5th aspect until July 13th, 2015. Mars in Taurus sign  was aspected by Saturn from Scorpio from May 3rd to June 15th, 2015, then in Leo from September 15th to November 2nd, 2015.

RAHU will stay in Virgo sign in 2015, where it will transit Hastha Nakshatra ruled by Moon in Virgo sign until July 26th 2015. Next Rahu will transit in U. Phalguni Nakshatra ruled by Sun in Virgo Sign until the end of the year.Rahu in Virgo sign will be aspected by Mars from Aquarius by its 8th aspect from Jan 4th to Feb 11th 2015, then Mars from Pisces by its 7th aspect from Feb 11th to March 23rd 2015 and finally Mars from  Gemini sign by its 4th aspect from June 15th to July 30th 2015. Rahu will be in conjunction with Mars in Virgo at 4 degrees 20 minutes on November 9th, 2015 during Mars transit through Virgo sign from Nov 2nd, 2015 to Dec 23rd, 2015 in conjunction with Rahu..

KETU Ketu will stay in Pisces sign in 2015, where it transited Revati Nakshatra ruled by Mercury until March 22nd 2015, and will transit in U Bhadrapadh Nakshatra ruled by Saturn until November 29th 2015, finally P Bhadrapadh Nakshatra ruled by Jupiter until the end of 2015. Ketu in Pisces was aspected by Jupiter from Cancer sign until July 13th, 2015. Ketu in Pisces will also be aspected by Mars from Leo sign by its 8th aspect from September 15th to November 2nd 2015, then Mars from Virgo sign by its 7th aspect from November 2nd to December 23rd 2015.

JUPITER . Jupiter left Cancer sign and entered Leo sign on July 13th 2015. Jupiter will transit Magha Nakshatra ruled by Ketu in Leo sign until September 13th 2015. Next Jupiter will transit P Phalguni Nakshatra ruled by Venus in Leo sign until November 27th 2015. Finally Jupiter will transit U Phalguni Nakshatra ruled by Sun in Leo sign until the end of 2015. Jupiter in Leo sign will be aspected by Saturn from Scorpio by its 10th aspect, from July 13th, 2015 to the end of 2015.

Planetary Transits of major planets (Saturn, Jupiter , Rahu & Ketu )

                                                               OM GURVE NAMAH
The position, aspect and combination of planets in a horoscope and  current transits of those particular plants connected to a particular query or problem influence us significantly and must be understood as holisitcally in a systematic way.

The transits of Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars,  Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu & Ketu are taken into account to predict things according to Vedic Astrology principles but the slow moving planets Jupiter, Saturn and Rahu & Ketu stay for longer period in a particular nakshatra and zodiac sign and influence us the most.

These should be understood in their transits to understand  horoscopes in more accurate and in the better way.

Jupiter at present is retrograde in its own constellation Purnavasu in Gemini sign ruled by Mercury. Retrograde Jupiter will enter Rahu’s  Ardra star in Gemini sign on Jan 16th, 2014.  Jupiter will go direct on March 6th, 2014 at 16 degrees 28 minutes in Ardra Nakshatra ruled by Rahu in Gemini sign. Jupiter will again enter its own nakshatra Purnavasu in Gemini sign on April 23rd, 2014, and it will stay there until July 3rd, 2014, before it enters Saturn’s nakshatra Pushyami in Cancer sign. Jupiter will change signs and enter Cancer sign on June 18th, 2014.  During August, Sept, and Oct of 2014 Jupiter in Cancer sign will be aspected by Saturn from Libra sign. Jupiter will enter Mercury’s nakshatra Aslesha in Cancer sign on Sept 2nd, 2014. Then Jupiter goes retrograde on December 8th, 2014 at 28 degrees 39 minutes in Cancer sign, and stays retrograde until the end of the year.

Saturn will be aspecting transit Mercury in Sagittarius in first week of Jan 2014, then transit Mercury in Aries in last week of April and first week of May 2014, again Mercury in Cancer sign in first ten days of August 2014.  There will be Saturn, Mercury conjunction in last week of November 2014. Mercury will go retrograde on Feb 6th, 2014 at 9 degrees 21 minutes in Aquarius, then direct on Feb 28th, 2014 in Capricorn in 24 degrees 13 minutes. Mercury will again go retrograde on June 7th, 2014 at 9 degrees 10 minutes in Gemini, then direct on July 1, 2014 at 0 degrees 29 minutes in Gemini. Finally Mercury will again go retrograde on Oct 4th, 2014 at 9 degrees 19 minutes in Libra, then direct on Oct 25, 2014 at 22 degrees 48 minutes in Virgo.
Saturn will be aspecting Sun in Sagittarius in second week of Jan 2014, then again Sun in Aries in first two weeks of May 2014, and finally Sun in Cancer sign in first two weeks of August 2014.

Rahu will transit through its own nakshatra Swati in Libra sign until March 10th, 2014. Then in it enters Mars Nakshatra Chitra in Libra sign until July 14th, 2014.   Then Rahu will continue its sojourn through Chitra Nakshatra ruled by Mars in Virgo sign until November 17th, 2014. Then it stays in Moon’s nakshatra Hasta in Virgo sign until the end of the year.

Ketu will transit its own nakshatra Aswini in Aries sign ruled by Mars until July 14th, 2014. Then it enters Revati nakshatra ruled by Mercury in Jupiter sign Pisces, until the end of 2014. Transit Jupiter from Cancer sign will be aspecting transit Ketu in Pisces between August 1, 2014 and end of 2014.

Positions of Planets in Birth Chart are indicators of a particular message  just as in a letter and which is delivered by these transiting planets like a postman. So what if a message is good (in a horoscope) but delivered in a bad shape via transits? The transiting planets influence us tremendously.

Some astrologers take into account the planets at birth whereas the others may use their transits only. The influences can be analysed  and predicted with accuracy only when  planetary position at birth and current transit together.

For example, the houses like 2,4,7 & 11 are involved in blissful relationships, and marital life. How these transiting planets will influence your marriage or relationship and what will happen to your relationship/marriage in 2014 including other concerns like career, financial situation, job etc?

These influences can be understood by analyzing the positions, ownerships, aspects and combinations of  planets with other planets in a birth chart and  the current and future transits of those planets.

You can contact me for understanding your friendly and inimical  planets which can make or mar your future.

Major Constituents of Astrological System

ॐ गुरुवे नमः (Om Gurve Namah)

MAJOR CONSTITUENTS OF THE SYSTEM :

The divine science of astrology has five major constituents, i.e. (stars), signs, houses, planets and planetary periods
A. Stars (Nakshtras):

The entire Zodiac is divided into 27 Nakshtras. Each nakshatra is further divided into four parts which means hat Zodiac of 360⁰ is divided into 108 parts measuring 3⁰ 20 each.
B. SIGNS:
The first constituent of the system is signs. They are twelve in number and are ruled by the 7 planets, the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn including two shadow planets Rahu and Ketu.
Twelve zodiac signs respectively are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces.
Aries, Scorpio: Ruled by planet Mars
Taurus, Libra: Ruled by planet Venus
Gemini, Virgo: Ruled by planet Mercury
Cancer: Ruled by planet Moon
Leo: Ruled by Sun
Sagittarius, Pisces: Ruled by planet Jupiter
Capricorn, Aquarius: Ruled by planet Saturn

C. HOUSES:
The third constituent of the system is houses. These are twelve in number and each of the twelve houses of the horoscope deals with specific significations. The significations of houses fructify under the planetary periods connected with them.
For example, first house known as Ascendant is the most important house in a horoscope which signifies the person’ s physical body, 2nd house shows wealth and third house signifies brothers and sisters and valour and so on.

D. PLANETS:
The fourth constituent of the system is planets. The planets signify various things which have to be learnt by heart. For example, the Sun is personified as a king in the planetary cabinet. ... Persons having the Moon , the significator of mind, in the sign of the Sun would have the mental frame of enjoying life like a king i.e of thinking big. The Sun signifies father, husband and children. He also signifies heart and the stomach as physical parts of the body. Similarly, various significations are attached to various planets. The Sun and the Moon are luminaries but have also been referred to as planets in our texts.

Additionally, planets govern the house(s) in a nativity where their signs fall. For example, if the sign Leo falls in the 8th house, the Sun would rule the significations of the 8th house. The Sun and the Moon govern one sign each of the Zodiac whereas the remaining planets govern two signs each. Each planet has one sign as its mooltrikona sign which helps in identifying the functional nature of the planets as per its placement.

E. PLANETARY PERIODS :
The fifth constituent of the system is planetary periods. Though various types of planetary periods for specific combinations in a nativity are mentioned in classical texts, we will here consider only Vimshotari dasa which is universally applicable for all sets of combinations in a nativity. Based on the longitudes of the Moon in the natal charts, we calculate the operational major period of a particular planet and the balance period yet to be operational.The planets as per their strength in a horoscope give results of the significations/houses ruled by them in their own sub periods.

REASONS FOR PROBLEMS IN LIFE:

1. Weak planets;
2. Badly placed planets;
3. Afflicted planets;
4. Prolonged transit affliction to weak natal planets;
5. Transit of slow moving planets - Rahu, Ketu, Jupiter and Saturn in malefic houses;
6. Sub periods of functional malefic planets.

HOW TO IDENTIFY PLANETARY INFLUENCES IN A HOROSCOPE:

1. Placement of planets;
2. Close conjunction of planets with other planets;
3. Close conjunction of planets with most effective point of houses;
4. Close aspects with other planets;
5. Close aspects with the most effective point of houses.

What is Vedic Astrology?

                                                              ॐ गुरुवे नमः

The Goddess of Learning

Astrology is the oldest science on earth which is believed to have been revealed million years ago when Lords of Flames came to guide humanity in their evolutionary process. Astrology had been the important part of our lives since the times of Caveman. Primitive societies needed the Sun & Moon for their migration, military campaigns, protection from herds, hunting, voyages and for illuminating their path to explore the world. Their camps, food and other basic necessities were dependent on these sources of light.

In Vedas (Holy Hindu Scriptures written in Ancient India around 5000 years ago by sages), the oldest scriptures in the World, the astrology had been depicted in abstract forms. During Vedic times, the people were aware of the constellations, and their deities, phases of Moon, signs and other planets too. The calculation of the year, season, month, fortnight, days and other cosmic phenomena were not only understood but used for daily living. Importance is attached to each day which it belongs to some deity ruled by certain Nakshatra (constellation) and different phases of Moon makes it more appealing. The year was divided into two main parts Uttarayan (The phenomenon of Sun’s movement towards North on celestial sphere between January 14th  and July 14th starting from Capricorn to Gemini as per Indian Astrology) and dakshinayan (Sun’s movement towards South between July 14th and January 14th  starting from Cancer to Saggitarius). Uttarayan was considered auspicious for self and rising of soul and spiritual upliftment. The sun doesn't go up and down, it is the position of earth in orbit around the Sun makes as look like it's moving up and down.

The Vedas have considered the astrology as third eye through which man can know and envision his worldly life and spiritual self. The entire development and growth of mysterious astrological knowledge on Indian soil is popularly known as ‘Vedic Astrology’ to the Western World because the knowledge of Vedas can not be meaningfully acquired without understanding astrology and vice versa. Vedic astrology is considered in fact as the ‘Mother of all Sciences.’ The Vedas have been also dealt with science, religion and medicine, besides astrology. Most of one’s self and one’s life is revealed through the knowledge of astrology and astronomy.

The influences that planets make on life on earth can be seen by the actions of Moon on sea. The new Moon and full Moon bring tides in oceans, so ships and seamen take advantage of the information. It has been observed by the scientists that mentally challenged persons get more agitated and are prone to crazy acts due to the influence of the new Moon and full Moon. The word ‘lunatic’ for these kinds of people got originated from word ‘lunar’ (relating to the movements of Moon).

 Many ancient civilisations have risen, blossomed, fallen & perished but the knowledge of astrology survived and grew with the evolution of mankind across the time. All across the world, particularly in India, astrology is held in high esteem because it is considered the eye of wisdom. All the activities in our lives whether they are social, political, economic or religious can be supported by the principles of astrology. Astrology was tested and experienced for many centauries and its knowledge was transferred down the ages to new generations. Although we also notice that some rationalists of modern world challenge it by calling it superstitious and misguiding. They should be corrected by asking them how they can rightfully say so about a subject that they have never studied or learnt. It is the arrogance which allows them to reject the subject which is primarily based on scientific principle of ‘cause and effect’. Indeed, the astrology also needs ongoing research and development funding as is allocated to other subjects like medicine, space science, languages, cultural heritage, civilisation and archaeology etc.

Ancient man has found a correlation between the movement of the sky and archetype behaviour pattern.  In astrology we see the subtle connectivity between the moving stars, the zodiac and human behaviour. After a lot research, it has been observed and inferred that a certain pattern works between a planet and the characteristics of man. Astrology is not only confined to Sun sign or Moon sign, but also an exhaustive horoscope can reveal

accurate traits and basic characteristics of person. If the tools of astrology (vedic) are applied correctly, then the past, present and future events can be predicted with precision. The permutation and combination of planets create a balance that provides definite personality traits.

A horoscope made on the date, time and place of birth can reveal the past, present and future of person. Ancient sages had laid down the principles on which different planets give particular results. If an astrologer is well versed with this science, has ample experience and is blessed with good intuitive wisdom, then he can always make correct prediction. The failure in interpretation or making accurate predication entirely falls on the person concerned. If one is not well equipped with the subject and does not know the intricacies, there are chances on making wrong predictions. An astrologer needs to be knowledgeable and have the right virtues. A sage astrologer from India, Varahmihira said that an astrologer should know the five other subjects besides learning astrology, for only then he can attain the mystic knowledge of astrology.

In astrology we believe that this birth is in continuation of many births which one takes and this pattern will continue until one gets liberated or attains moksha (ultimate emancipation). The action or karma done in previous births decides and controls our present birth to great extent. Perhaps this is the reason we don’t have any control on the set of parents, relations, environment and other permanencies of life.
